The 1D star didn't seem too pleased when a baby doll made it's way on stage - too soon? You’ve got to hand it to those One Direction fans – they always know how to react to a situation.
Last night they made sure Louis Tomlinson had a night to remember when he returned to stage in Seattle for the first time since news broke he is set to be a dad.
The 23-year-old – who is having a baby with stylist Briana Jungwirth – was greeted by a baby doll as a symbol of his impending fatherhood. But he was not impressed and shouted "Outrageous. It's not real!" before throwing the doll of the stage. Other fans created rather great signs to celebrate the news. One read: “Louis is the baby a TomlinSON or a tomlinDAUGHTER. Very clever.
And outside the venue one thoughtful fan started a collection of toys for the tot-to-be, perhaps forgetting he is one the richest twenty somethings in the world.
After the show Louis broke his Twitter silence and wrote: "Amazing show ! Thank you for the support !!"
Earlier in the day the singer had been spotted boarding a private jet in order to get to Seattle for the show - as he continues the On The Road Again tour after a few days off. Louis said to be "very happy and excited" about fatherhood and believes Briana will be "an amazing mother", according to PEOPLE.com A source told the website: “It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
It is thought Louis met Briana shortly after his split from long-term love Eleanor Calder. The couple have been spotted on a number of dates since May and despite it being early days Louis has apparently vowed to be a “hands-on-dad”.
It’s thought Louis has been with Briana for all her ultrasounds so far and will be there when she gives birth early next year.
“Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months,"said the source.
“They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
